Paper Plate Dinosaur Craft

This kid friendly dinosaur craft is so simple and easy to put together and is a great arts and crafts project for young dinosaur enthusiasts who love to get creative. Everything you need for this project, you probably already have at home which is a bonus for parents!

You will need:

Instructions:

  1. Cut the paper plate in half. 
  2. Paint one of the 1/2 plate pieces in the colour of your choosing. Paint two wooden pegs, the same colour as the dinosaur.
  3. Once the paint is dry, draw your dinosaur spikes, head, and tail using your coloured paper. This is where your little ones can really get create with long or short nick and tales!
  4. Glue your head, tail, and spikes to the back side of the paper plate.
  5. Draw a little smile with a black marker or pen and glue a googly eye to your dinosaur head.  
  6. Attach the wooden pegs to the bottom of your paper plate, these act as your dinosaur legs. There you have it, all done!
